Our Mondo’s coffee hotel is located right in the city center – next to the Porta Nigra, the landmark of the city of Trier. It is the ideal starting point for exploring the sights of the oldest city in Germany or for a relaxed shopping trip. We are also the ideal accommodation option for families with small children, hikers and bike tourists.
Our traditional house was built in 1898 and was modernized and rebuilt in 1998. With its beautiful neo-gothic façade with many arcades, a corner turret and the great figure of
Saint Christopher, the hotel itself has a long history. The holy „Christophel“ with his walking stick and the infant Jesus on his shoulders is considered the patron saint of all travelers.
Our hotel combines tradition and modernity, which is reflected in our hotel rooms as well as in our coffee bar. From many of our rooms you have an almost unique view of the Porta Nigra, the imposing former Roman city gate. From other rooms you can see the Trier Cathedral, the oldest bishop’s church north of the Alps.
